Customs officers seized a large amount of goods with forged logos of world brands


2 435 pieces of clothing, sports kits and bags with the logo of world-famous brands were seized by customs and border officers at Lesovo border checkpoint.
On 18 December 2017 around 9.30 am, a cargo vehicle with a Hungarian registration number, driven by a Hungarian citizen arrived at Lesovo border checkpoint. The truck transports textile products from Turkey to Romania. The vehicle has been selected for a thorough customs check by Customs Mobile Group. During the check, customs officers found a large amount of clothing and bags with the world famous brands, including 245 ladies' shawls and 105 Gucci women's bags, 100 sports sets with the Emporio Armani and Ferrari logos, 55 Tommy Hilfiger Sweatshirts, 20 Monkler and Canadas Gos Jackets, 100 sets women's lingerie with the Kelvin Klein logo and 1,810 men underwear with the Kevin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Armani trademarks. They were seized according to Regulation (EU) № 608/2013 and Law on Marks and Geographical Indications. The proprietors of the trademarks concerned will be notified accordingly.
