National Customs Training Centre

1. draws up the Agency's strategy for training and qualification of customs officials;

2. develops an annual training programme for the officials of the customs administration;

3. organizes and carries out the training and qualification in position levels of the staff;

4. analyzes the necessity of raising the professional knowledge of the customs officials that are necessary for performing their official obligations, organizes holding of courses related to that and to other forms of training, analyzes their efficiency and evaluates the results achieved;

5. coordinates and controls all forms and activities of training, realized by the regional training centres;

6. gathers, systematizes and archives a library stock related to the training and qualification of customs officials;

7. realizes the cooperation with similar Bulgarian and foreign training units aiming at exchange of information and experience.
