Customs officers seize 2 250 000 fake Ukrainian excise labels

Customs officers seized 2 250 000 fake Ukrainian excise labels in the region of Durankulak, press centre of Customs Agency informed.
On August 26 a mobile group for monitoring and control of Customs Office in Dobrich and National Revenue Agency - Dobrich stopped a Mercedes minibus with Ukrainian label plate which was travelling from Turkey to Ukraine.
There were nine adult Ukrainians in the minibus, who said that are carrying auto accessories and clothing from Turkey within the permitted quantities.
After a detail check of the motor vehicle, customs officers have found 2 250 000 illegal paper bands of 160mm X 20mm sizes under a makeshift bed. There were printed graphic images, serial numbers, legend, excise mark, value and holographic strip of Ukrainian excise labels, on them.
