One-desk service will be launched for the release of parcel posts. This is what Customs Agency director Vanyo Tanov and Bulgarian Post CEO Milen Keremedchiev agreed in the frames of a work meeting, held on Monday morning at the head office of the Customs Agency.
Mechanisms aiming to improve the service of clients when receiving parcel matters was another issue discussed during the meeting. The directors of the two institutions joined around the idea that this is an important problem for the clients and urgent measures should be taken to solve the issue.
Two work groups - one with the Customs Agency and one with the Bulgarian Posts, have been established. They will work on concrete steps needed to ease the procedure. The goal is to provide one-desk service for parcels' release. This will save time for clients, who will no linger need to go from cash-desk to cash-desk, even to bank desks, to release their parcels.
The work groups will get the chance to organize open work desks of the Customs Agency at the post offices.
On Thursday there will be a second work meeting with the participation of experts and managements of the Customs Agency and the Bulgarian Posts to set a plan for implementation of the changes and measures for closer cooperation in a long-term plan.
