27kg of broach tobacco without excise label seized in Troyan

Some 27 kilos of broach tobacco without excise label have been seized in the Bulgarian town of Troyan, the District Interior Ministry Directorate - Lovech announced.
Officers with the Regional Interior Ministry Directorate and the National Customs Agency conducted a special operation at the Cooperative Market in the town. The check-ups targeted sale of excise goods without excise label.
Authorities detained two people from the village of Bukovlak, who were selling a total of 27 kilos of broach tobacco, which did not have the required excise label.
The tobacco has been confiscated, while the two offenders have been drawn a statement over administrative violation under the Excise Duty and Tax Warehouse Act.
