Customs officers seized 16.5 tons of red wine in illegal Winery

Customs officers of customs mobile groups seized 16 524 liters of red wine. The wine is found in farmyard in the village of Lik, Mezdra region. Information in the register of small winemakers shows that the winery has not been registered under the Excise Duty and Tax Warehouses Act and work illegally.
During the check of the cellar custom officers found 965 bottles of 0.750 liters of red wine as well and 17 barrels of 500 liters, containing a total of 8500 liters of wine.
In the fermenting compartment custom officers found more 7000 liters of wine in different bottles.
