EUR 90,000, USD 40,000 and silver seized at Lesovo crossing

Customs officers at Lesovo border checkpoint seized large amount of currency and silver in checking a truck traveling from Slovakia to Turkey.
In a thorough examination of the truck, customs officers found packages wrapped with beige tape in two secret compartments in the driver's cabin. It turned out that the two packages contained chips of white metal with a total weight 800 g, for which one of the drivers admitted that it was silver. In the hiding places, and in the luggage of the same driver - 40-year-old S.V., Serbian citizen living in Slovakia, customs officers discovered large amounts of currency - 87,500 euros and 42,100 dollars.
