NCA, Podkrepa Labour Confederation sign new collective labour contract

On June 28, 2010, under Article 51, Paragraph 1 of the Labour Code, the National Customs Agency and the National Federation of Trade, Services, Control Authorities and Tourism with the Podkrepa Labour Confederation signed new collective labour contract.
The contracts is with 2-year term and it aims at improving the relations based on mutual respect and respect to the common interests, so as to establish partnership, guaranteed social peace, avoidance of labour conflicts and effective realization of the functions of the National Customs Agency.
The subject of the contract's purpose is focused on employment, training and re-qualification of the staff, wages and benefits, working hours, breaks and holidays, health and safety, insurance of employees, social, cultural and residential care employees.
Representatives of the Podkrepa Labor Confederation welcomed the fact that the leadership of the NCA is easy, does not encounter any obstacles in trade union activities and expressed the position of its members that over the last year things that have happened at the agency are to the interest of the staff and problems that have remained unsolved for 20 years have been settled.
The contract has been signed by NCA director Vanyo Tanov and Pokrepa chairperson Neli Hristova and federal secretary of the National Federation of Trade, Services, Control Authorities and Tourism with the Podkrepa Labour Confederation Angel Pachemanov.
