4000 pieces of illegal cigarettes, 3430 ampoules of testosterone seized at Lesovo crossing

During the weekend the customs officers at Lesovo border checkpoint seized 200 boxes of cigarettes without excise labels when checked 2 cars with Bulgarian license plates entering the country from Turkey. In a car with foreign registration, traveling from Iraq to the Netherlands, the customs inspectors seized 3,430 vials of testosterone, press centre of the National Customs Agency announced.
On October 22 in the evening, a car with Bulgarian license plate entered the country from Turkey. It was stopped for a detailed customs inspection. During the check the customs officers at Lesovo border checkpoint found 1000 pieces of cigarettes without excise labels hidden in the cavities of the car and in the luggage of passengers. Customs Act violation is drawn up against S.V. - a Bulgarian citizen. A few hours later that night another cars with Bulgarian license plate was selected for a detailed inspection.
During the inspection the customs officers found 3,000 cigarettes without excise labels, which Bulgarian citizen A.M. at the age of 33 years, declared for personal use.
Again on Saturday (October 23) was checked a car with foreign license plate, which was traveling from Iraq to the Netherlands. During the check customs officers found the number 3430 ampoules of testosterone in the trunk of the vehicle.
