Smuggled cigarettes found in a car at Kalotina checkpoint

Customs inspectors at the Kalotina customs checkpoint seized smuggled cigarettes in a Volkswagen Passat car after a thorough check-up.
Authorities found and confiscated 100 boxes (2,000 pieces) of Viceroy and LM cigarettes with Serbian excise stamp.
The tobacco products were hidden in the boot of the car, behind bags, and under the driver's seat.
The driver of the car has been drawn a statement over violation under the Customs Act.
