Customs officers seize 233 boxes of cigarettes in trains, hidden in WC and ceiling

Customs officers at the Kalotina border checkpoint seized 233 boxes or some 4,660 pieces of illegal cigarettes, while hampering three different smuggling attempts.
In three consecutive check-ups on two international trains (No 491 and No 293) running from Serbia to Bulgaria, the customs officers found a total of 233 boxes of cigarettes of the brands Viceroy, Monus, Imperial Classic, Classic Slims, Merilyn Slims and Eva Slims.
The illegal tobacco products were hidden in cavities of train's ceiling, while in one of the cases - in the WC.
