Goods seized by customs offered for sale only under strict legal order

In connection to the increasing attempts of frauds against citizens, the National Customs Agency reminds that the goods confiscated by the customs are realised only following the legal rules and regulations, through the structures of the National Revenue Agency.
The National Customs Agency wishes to attract citizens attention to the fact that the customs officers do not engaged in the sale of goods confiscated to the benefit of the state.
Citizens should be vigilant for every person, who introduces him/herself as a customs officer or a relative or friend of customs officers, offering "confiscated goods'.
This is a fraud and citizens should address the Interior Ministry,
Customs officers wear customs uniforms, distinguishing signs and are obliged to identify themselves.
