Smuggling of 9,810 pieces of cigarettes hampered at Gyueshevo checkpoint

Officers at the Gyueshevo customs checkpoint hampered at attempt of smuggling some 9,810 pieces of cigarettes on January 14, the National Customs Agency reports.
The cigarettes were found in the gas tank of a vehicle entering the territory of the country from Macedonia. The car is with Bulgarian registration and was driven by a Bulgarian national.
The illegal tobacco products have Macedonian excise stamp and are of the brands LD, Fast and York.
