Customs officers at Malko Tarnovo and Lesovo crossed three attempts for smuggled cigarettes

Three attempted smuggling of cigarettes from Turkey have been crossed by customs officers at Malko Tarnovo and Lesovo border checkpoints in the last day, press centre of the National Customs Agency announced. 5800 pieces (290 boxes) of cigarettes without excise labels from seven different brands have been seized. 2200 pieces of the contraband cigarettes were found during a customs inspection at Malko Tarnovo customs office in a van with Romanian tourists.
Other 3600 pieces of smuggled cigarettes were seized at Lesovo customs office. They were found in hiding places in two cars with Bulgarian license plates.
