Large amount of smuggled perfumes seized at Lesovo checkpoint

Customs officers at Lesovo customs checkpoint seized large amount of brand perfumes hidden in a secret compartment of a Mercedes car during a thorough check.
The vehicle, which was with a foreign registration, entered the territory of the country from Turkey. There were three Armenian nationals in the car, citizens of different cities in Poland.
At the Bulgarian customs checkpoint they said they had nothing to declare before the customs authorities.
However, during a detailed check authorities found, in a secret compartment in the back seat of the car, a total of 921 perfumes of different sizes, bearing the logos of popular brands such as „D&G", „Paco Rabanne", „Chanel", „Armani", „Dior", „Lancome", "Givenchy", „Kenzo", „Lacoste", „Hugo Boss", „Versace" and others.
Customs officers at Lesovo hampered a cigarette smuggling attempts overnight and seized 3,400 pieces (170 boxes) of KING cigarettes in the tires of a car coming from Turkey. The cigarettes had a ‘duty-free' label.
