The customs officers at Sofia Airport have found almost 1 kg of synthetic cannabis in a parcel.
The narcotic substance was put in packs labeled BONZAI. The substance was tested in the Central Customs Laboratory. According to the lab results the substance in the packs contained JWH-018, which is controlled under the Narcotic Substances and Precursors Control Act, and JWH-210, which is not under control in Bulgaria yet.
The parcel of synthetic cannabis was earmarked for the Bulgarian market, with the price varying between BGN 40 and BGN 70 for a doze of 3 grams.
