Customs officers at Danube Bridge found cigarettes in a secret place under gas tank

Custom offices at Ruse border checkpoint found master case and a half of cigarettes hidden in a specially built secret place under the gas tank of a car. That is what the press office of the National Customs Agency announced. In the area of Danube Bridge checkpoint yesterday, Customs officers selected Fiat Punto car with Bulgarian registration for inspection. The car was driven by a Romanian citizen and moving from Bulgaria to Romania.
In thorough customs inspection in the luggage compartment under the gas cylinder of the gas system was found additional special compartment. It was filled with 739 boxes of cigarettes without excise labels.
