Mobile customs group seizes tobacco enough for 86,000 cigarettes

Some 72 kilos of hand-rolling tobacco have been seized by a mobile customs group in the Northwestern town of Vidin. The illegal tobacco was found in a courier's package.
In the frames of a routine check at the office of a courier's company, a mobile customs group detected a delivery of two bags full of hand-rolling tobacco. The package has arrived from Sofia and was addressed to a local resident, who did not appear at the courier's office.
The tobacco has been confiscated, while the case has been referred to the competent authorities.
The retail price of such amount of tobacco is estimated at more than BGN 2,000, while the tobacco itself is enough for the making of more than 43,000 boxes of cigarettes or more than 86,000 pieces of cigarettes.
