Kapitan Andreevo. Bulgarian customs officers have seized a large amount of fake brand sports goods at Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint on the border with Turkey, National Customs Agency announced.
Customs inspectors foiled three smuggling attempts on three consecutive days. On the first one they seized 900 sports tops labeled Puma from a vehicle with a Polish license plate number coming from Turkey.
A day later customs inspectors checked a van that was traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria and driven by a Montenegrin national. They found 72 tracksuits labeled Adidas in the vehicle.
On the next day a car with a Bulgarian license plate number was stopped for a check. There were 35 short-sleeved T-shirts labeled Adidas and Nike in the personal luggage of a car passenger.
