Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo discover counterfeit goods of world brands

Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint detained a truck loaded with counterfeit goods of world brands travelling from Turkey to Lithuania, press centre of the National Customs Agency (NCA) announced. The heavy-freight truck, driven by a Turkish citizen was transporting according to documents some 403 parcels of 54 different kinds of goods. Despite the loaded parcels corresponded the number of the parcels declared, the officers found more 108 pair of undeclared shoes. That made them suspicion, so they carried out detailed check of the parcels and found that the truck was actually been loaded with counterfeit goods of luxury brands in the amount for full autumn change of the wardrobe of small Lithuanian town. The customs officers seized 240 Gicci jackets, 820 Polo Ralph Lauren blouses, 30 Armani trousers, 15 Armani children shirts, 30 Adidas sweatshirts, 160 pairs of Tommy Hilfiger jeans and 50 pairs of Diesel jeans.
