GPS-system of customs control detects a ship refueled with fuel for heating

Customs officers of Ruse Customs Office found contravened excise duty legislation on avoidance of payment of excise duty amounting to BGN 10,000, the press office of the National Customs Agency (NCA)announced.
The violation is found on Friday after received signal from the Territorial Coordination Center for Analysis and Control of Excise Operations. Fraud is associated with change of use of 16,580 kg of energy products - black oil, which is described as a fuel for heating and should be transported from Ruse to Blagoevgrad by a cistern truck. There is a GPS control system installed on the cistern truck, which shows that instead of the southern city, the cistern truck headed to the port of Ruse, where it remains suspicious long time in one place. This unexplained downtime is detected by the Territorial Coordination Center for Analysis and Control of Excise Operations. Then Ruse Customs officials carried out checks, which found that the Oil of tankers was used for refueling a ship at the port of Ruse. Violators have been arrested at the time of refueling and it is certainly clear that the black oil will be used for fuel of the ship, which is prohibited for environmental reasons.
