The customs inspectors at Kalotina checkpoint on the Bulgarian-Serbian border have seized 711 packets of illegal cigarettes and falsified identity documents.
During two checks of an international passenger train traveling between Serbia and Bulgaria the customs inspectors found a total of 711 packets of cigarettes with Serbian excise labels. They were found in one of the train carriages after dismantling the roof of the toilet and in hollows between two carriages. Statements of customs violations were drawn.
While checking a car with a Bulgarian license plate number, which was leaving Bulgaria, and its 29-year-old driver, a Bulgarian citizen, the customs inspectors found a falsified driver's license. The case was referred to the competent bodies.
