1,488 boxes of cigarettes found under a train at Kalotina checkpoint

Customs officers reported the latest case of an attempt to smuggle cigarettes by railway transport. In a check on the international train travelling from Serbia to Bulgaria, customs officers at the Kalotina checkpoint found some 1,488 boxes of cigarettes, Marilyn Slims, with Kosovar excise stamp.
Most of the cigarettes were hound under the battery boxes of the carriages, while the rest were out in hallow spaces in the corridors and the lavatory.
