Customs officers in the Bulgarian coastal city of Varna have found a large amount of fake speaker systems and loudspeakers in a Chinese container, announced the National Customs Agency.
The equipment was found during a check. The customs officers found 3,894 speaker systems and mouthpieces with a notice BOSS, which apparently tries to imitate the world famous trademark BOSE. The invoice value of the fake items is about USD 15,000 and the receiver is a Bulgarian firm based in capital Sofia.
The holder of the trademark BOSE GP was notified. It confirmed that the seized goods were fake and had been manufactured without its knowledge and permission.
