Customs officers foil illegal sale of 50 tons of coal

Customs officers with the Customs Bureau - Kardzhali foiled the illegal sale of nearly 50 tons of coal in the towns of Krumovgrad and Momchilgrad. On September 17, in a joint operation with the colleagues from the Regional Police Departner, the customs inspectors busted a warehouse for construction materials in Krumovgrad where they found 18.250 tons of coal, for which the warehouse owner did not have any documents. The owner was imposed a fine.
A couple of days earlier, customs inspectors from Kardzhali detected another case of illegal coal trade at a warehouse of a company in the town of Momchilgrad. Authorities found 30 tons of coal
