Ancient and mediaeval coins hidden in car’s radio player seized Sofia Airport

In a check on a courier's package customs officers with the customs intelligence and infestigation of drug trafficking unit seized 144 ancient and mediaeval coins, made of silver, bronze and copper.
The coins were hidden in a radio player for car and were aimed for Spain. All the seized coins are cultural valuables under the Cultural Heritage Act.
According to experts, the ‘earliest' coins date back to the V century BC, while the ‘oldest' - XVI.
