Smuggled cigarettes behind double-wall seized in Northwest Bulgaria

Customs officers in the Northwest town of Vidin seized smuggled cigarettes hidden behind a double-wall of a cellar.
Officers with the Customs Intelligence and Investigation of the Customs - Lom searched the home of a 53-year-old man. He said he did not have access to the basement but the customs officers called a locksmith, who opened the door. After the raid authorities found527 boxes of cigarettes of different brands, all without excise stamp.
During the operation some clients came to ask for cigarettes. The ‘clients' were interrogated, while the cigarettes were confiscated.
