NCA Director: Smuggling though the Greek border decreased, but increased through Macedonia and Albania

Smuggling though the Greek border significantly decreased, but through Macedonia and Albania increased. That is what director of the National Customs Agency (NCA) Vanyo Tanov told journalists, cited by FOCUS News Agency .
Regarding the "duty free" cigarettes there are attempts for smuggling through the Turkish border, he specified.
In his words there are some perquisites that has helped the fight against smuggled tobacco products, such as serious increase in the price of tobacco products in Serbia, which make them not so attractive for the local market, because the price difference in not so big.
"From this point of view striving for local production to avoid risks will become greater," Vanyo Tanov said.
