Over 900,000 contraband cigarettes destroyed under the control of Svilengrad Customs

Over 900,000 contraband cigarettes and 9.5 kilograms of tobacco were destroyed today under the control of Svilengrad Customs Office. For the third time this year, the destruction was carried out by mechanical machine cutting of the packaging and their content of cigarettes.
Part of cigarettes was seized in 2011 and 2012 at the Bulgarian-Greek Kapitan Petko Voivoda border checkpoint. Another part of the cigarettes was seized during inspections in stores in the territory of Haskovo and Kardzhali.
