The excellent experience of the customs officers in the town of Ruse busted a fake driving license used by a Bulgarian citizen from the town of Razgrad, who was travelling to West Europe.
The vehicle driven by the 48-year-old man was stopped for a check during the night at the Danube Bridge checkpoint. During the check customs officers found a driving license registered on the name of the driver. A customs officer, however, detected that one of the names written on the driving license was different from the names in the ID card of the driver.
Meanwhile, customs and border police officers from Ruse seized 91 boxes of illicit cigarettes, all with a duty-free sign, from a car in the region of the village of Semerdzhievo.
