Bulgarian customs officers seize nearly 26 kg of cocaine

Bulgarian customs officers at Malko Tarnovo checkpoint seized 25, 625 kilos of cocaine. The value of the drug is 3,075 millions BGN
according the judiciary. The drug haul was found during a customs check on a car with Romanian registration. It was driven by a Turkish citizen. Customs officers selected the vehicle for a check. In hidden compartments in different places inside the vehicle they found 24 packages with substance, reacted to cocaine.
The driver and one passenger, also a Turkish citizen, were detained. A pre-court proceeding was initiated on the case. The work on the case continues.
