Over 1 million pieces of smuggled cigarettes and smoking tobacco were destroyed under the supervision of the Svilengrad Customs House

1 058 215  pieces of smuggled cigarettes  and 73 kg smoking tobacco were destroyed under the supervision of the Svilengrad Customs House.

 

The destruction was carried out by mechanical cutting and packaging contained therein tobacco products that are seized by customs officers at the border checkpoints Kapitan Andreevo and Kapitan Petko Vojvoda. Cigarettes are of different brands, all without Bulgarian excise labels.

Since the beginning of the year more than 10 000 000 pieces of smuggled cigarettes were destroyed under the supervision of the Svilengrad Customs House.
