Customs officials of Stolichna Customs House seized 8 tons of marked fuel

8000 liters of marked fuel, which has been illegally used, was found and seized by the customs officials of Stolichna Customs House. After initiating and conducting a number of customs inspections of vehicles, private properties and such, dealing with excise goods, the customs officials revealed a scheme for illegal use of marked fuel. It was ascertained that the fuel was improperly categorized and declared as such, which will be used for baking bread in order less excise tax to be paid.

The total quantity of the seized fuel is 8 000 liters. This customs action prevented the possibility of an improper use of the confiscated good and harming/damaging the government budget with a monthly amount of 10 000 BGN.
