Customs officers discovered 2 tons of illegal brandy in the village of Kichevo in Varna region



2 tons of illegal brandy (rakia) were discovered by a mobile customs team in a private property in the village of Kichevo, Aksakovo municipality, Varna region.

The illicit alcohol was stored in 200 liter drums, stashed behind marc. The alcohol volume of the brandy is between 40 and 44%.

In the property the customs officers found also a caldron for boiling brandy and hundreds of retail prepared plastic bottles.

The illegal alcohol was seized, samples for conducting a laboratory analysis were taken from it and an administrative offence act will be issued against the owner.
