Customs officers detected striking case of cigarette smuggling in baby stroller in Svilengrad. Upon arrival of the customs officers checking in a shop, 55-years-old woman with a baby stroller with two-year child in panic trying to escape. However, customs officers stopped her for an examination to establish that in the basket of the stroller has a backpack with 109 boxes of cigarettes without excise labels with the inscription "Duty Free", mainly from the brands "LM", "Karelia slims", "Assos" and "Don".

Striking experience of using a child as a cover for smuggling cigarettes occurs during an operation against the merchants of cigarettes without excise labels near Svilengrad Municipality carried out by teams of officers of Svilengrad Customs House and mobile group of the Central Customs Directorate. The inspections in commercial buildings and in their immediate vicinity were seized 5 400 pieces of smuggled cigarettes.
