Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized thousands of fake socks and t-shirts

Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized 5 826 textiles suspected of infringing intellectual property rights of world famous brands. Fake goods were transported by Polish truck travelled from Turkey trough Bulgaria to Hungary. The truck was selected for detailed check. Customs officers found 4 116 pairs of men's and children socks with the logo of Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Nike, 1 440 T-shirts, ladies sets and wedges with the logo Adidas, Dolce & Gabana, Mochino, Chanel and  270 kids' blouses printed with images of popular cartoon character of Disney Mickey Mouse.

Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized 2 424 sport clothes in Polish truck travelled from Turkey trough Bulgaria to Hungary last week.

In compliance with EU Regulation No 608/2012 and the Law on Brands and Geographic Indications the case will be assigned to right owners of the relevant trademarks.
