Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found smuggled cigarettes in moving tyres of two Bulgarian cars

Mobile customs teams and Svilengrad customs officers found 1 116 boxes (23 200 pieces) cigarettes without excise labels hidden in the moving tyres of the cars. The smuggled cigarettes were found in two Bulgarian cars entering the country from Turkey. Customs officers selected the cars for customs inspection.  During inspection and dismounting of the four moving tyres of the first car, customs officers found hidden 600 boxes cigarettes without excise labels. In the moving tyres of the second car were found 560 boxes cigarettes without excise labels. The cigarettes were seized.

Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP have seized 300 000 pieces of cigarettes without excise labels for recent ten 10 days of May.
