Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found gold jewelry in bra



            Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found and  seized  smuggled gold  bracelets and necklaces. Gold jewelry were found in Bulgarian woman's underwear. She were traveling with three passengers in a car with Bulgarian registration entering  from Turkey. Passengers did not declare any goods, precious metals and currency. Customs officers  selected the car for a detailed check. During a personal examination customs officers  found  plastic bags with 26 gold jewelry, 10 bracelets and 16 necklaces hidden in the bra. It was ascertained that the adornments were of 14-karat gold. The total weight was 178 grams worth BGN 9 612 according to an expert.

The smuggled golds jewelry were seized. At  the woman  was drawn up an offence report for infringing the Currency Law.
