Customs officials at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found dozens of thousands of pseudoephedrine tablets in the washing powder

The customs officials at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized dozens of thousands of pseudoephedrine tablets. Pseudoephedrine (precursor for the production of synthetic drugs) was found in Polish truck traveled from Turkey through Bulgaria to the Baltics. Customs officers selected vehicle for a detailed check. Upon the physical and X-ray examination were found in the cupboard for tools four sealed packet of washing powder. The customs officer opened them and found in black plastic bags with over 50,000 white round tablets with logo "O". The total amount pseudoephedrine pills is 21.368 kg.

The driver of the truck was arrested .

A pre-trial proceeding was initiated on the case.
