Customs Officers at Malko Tarnovo BCP seized undeclared perfumes and commercial goods

Customs Officers at Malko Tarnovo BCP seized undeclared 1355 bottles of perfumes with brand "Loris" and 179 undeclared handbags, shoes and clothing with logos of world famous brands.

The undeclared perfumes are found during customs inspection of a car with Turkish registration traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria, driven by a Turkish citizen. The driver was sanctioned according to the law on Customs. He was admitted that perfumes were intended for trading on the Bulgarian market.

Other 9 boxes with undeclared 179 handbags, sports shoes and men's clothing with logos of 16 world famous brands, including "Valentino", "Burbery", "Louis Vuitton", "Cucci", "Armani", "Tommy Hilfiger" were seized from the lounge and the luggage compartment of a bus with Bulgarian registration, traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria with tourists. The driver and all passengers announced of the Bulgarian customs office, that they have nothing to declare. It has been found that the undeclared goods  are owned by one of the passengers in the bus-woman Bulgarian citizen. She was sanctioned according to the law on Customs. In compliance with EU Regulation №608/2013 and the Law on Brands and Geographic indications the case will be assigned to right owners of the relevant trademarks.
