Customs officials seized 560 liters of illegal marked fuel in Vidin

Customs officials of "Customs Intelligence and Investigation" department to Lom Customs House seized 560 liters of illegal marked fuel. The fuel was discovered in a tank truck which was officially carrying heating oil and, according to documents, at the time of the inspection it was supposed to be empty because it had just delivered its load of heating oil to a school in Vidin. However, the customs officials, during the inspection, found out that the tank truck contained over 500 liters of fuel. There were no documents which could prove the fuel was legal and which could show where it was supposed to be delivered.

The illegal fuel was seized and samples of it were taken to a laboratory. The investigation will show whether the devices of the tank truck were manipulated in order to count and report bigger amounts of fuel.
