Mobile customs groups revealed running illegal liquor factory in Gorna Oryahovitsa

Running illegal liquor factory was revealed tonight from mobile customs groups in Gorna Oryahovitsa. Customs officers and a police officer from Veliko Tarnovo enter the warehouse in a commercial base, which has been installed underground system of alcohol distillation and production of alcoholic beverages. Various alcoholic beverages are produced by mixing alcohol, glycerin, water and the corresponding essence. Then the fake alcohol is packaged in PVC-tubes with different capacity. Thereby the illegal alcohol is delivered to recipients.

Illegal facility was revealed in the workflow. PVC-tubes 10, 30 and 60 l are stored in the premises. They were filled with illegally produced alcohol-flavored grape brandy, apricot brandy, vodka and whiskey. Finished production with total 1240 liters of illegal alcohol has been prepared for distribution on the black market.
Other 600 liters concentrated alcohol was found in PVC-tubes of 60 liters. This amount was prepared for illegal production of alcoholic beverages.

The workers in the illegal factory were questioned. According to the confessions of the owner of the facility, illegally produced alcoholic beverages have been sold in pubs in northern Bulgaria.

The alcohol was confiscated. Illegal factory is sealed off. The investigation of the case continues.
