Customs Officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found a handbag full smuggling gold jewelry



Customs Officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found and seized 351 grams undeclared gold jewelry in the bag of a passenger in a car "Audi A3" with Bulgarian registration, traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria. The driver and a woman traveling in the car stated that they do not carry currency or commercial goods to declare.  During the customs check, Customs officers found in the handbag of a passenger total of 68 bracelets, pendants, rings of yellow metal with a total weight of 351 grams. The expertise found that all the jewels are made of 14-carat gold with a sample 585. The gold jewelry seized. They will be confiscated to the State. The violator, Bulgarian citizen with initials Т.G.,  was sanctioned according to the Monetary Law.
