Customs Officers at Malko Tarnovo seized banned pesticides from a tourist bus



Customs Officers at Malko Tarnovo BCP seized 101 packages containing 94 liters  of banned pesticides from  bus with foreign registration, traveling from Turkey through Bulgaria to Romania with passengers. The driver and all passengers have stated they had nothing to declare. The customs officers selected the vehicle for a detailed customs check. During the detailed check, Customs inspectors found in the luggage compartment of the bus 101 factory packages containing a total of 94 liters pesticides from nine different brands, produced in Turkey  and prohibited for import into the EU. The steward of the bus recognized that bought the pesticides in Turkey. A stratement  for violation of the Law on Customs was issued against the steward of the bus-  Romanian citizen with initials G.G.
