Minibus with smuggled cigarettes seats found customs officers at the Kapitan Andreevo BCP

The mobile customs team at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found smuggled cigarettes and tobacco in the minibus, traveling from Turkey to Bulgaria. The Bulgarian minibus traveled with 14 passengers, Bulgarian citizens. Three passengers declared total of 66 boxes of cigarettes. The minibus was selected for detailed customs check. Customs officers found under the seats glued smuggled cigarettes. From the „cigarettes" seats and from the personal baggage of the passengers customs officers seized total 2 267 boxes of cigarettes brand „MM", „Victory Exclusive", „Karelia", „Ome", „Assos" and 4750 g tobacco without excise labels.

A statement for violation of the Law on Customs was issued against the 11 passengers. Five more acts are made up against the passengers who have hindered the customs officials during the inspection.
