Turkish driver stuffed the door of his truck with 180 boxes of illegal cigarettes



Turkish truck driver transported illegal cigarettes in the cavities of the door of the vehicle. Ruse customs officers revealed this during inspection of truck on
Thursday night. The vehicle traveled from Turkey to Western Europe through the Danube Bridge BCP Ruse - Giurgiu. Initially the truck is scanned with X-ray
system. Then customs officers dismantled the door of the cab. From there they removed 180 boxes (3600 pieces) of cigarettes "L&M".

All packages are without Bulgarian excise labels with the inscription "DUTY FREE". The driver confessed he bought the cigarettes from the duty free shop in Turkey.

Rousse  Customs House formed preliminary investigation conducted in terms of immediate production.
