Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized T-shirts with the brand of football teams

Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized thousands textile products. Goods were transported with Bulgarian truck, entering the country from Turkey. The customs officers selected the truck for detailed check. During the inspection the customs officers found 1787 textile products with the logo of "Adidas", "Puma", "Nike", etc. A part of the shirts and the sports kits were printed with emblems of national football teams of Germany and England, as well as of the world famous club teams "Chelsea" and "Borussia Dortmund". Customs officers found also children's dresses, jackets and shirts with long sleeves, larger part with logo of  "Armani", as well as 252 ladies handbags with the logo of „Michael Kors", „Guess" and „Philipp Plein" and 40 sneakers with the logo of "Converse All Star".

In compliance with EU Regulation No 608/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Law on Brands and Geographic Indications, the products were seized and the rights owners of the relevant brands will be informed about the seizure.
