Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized in August 1 643 880 pieces cigarettes /82 194 boxes/ cigarettes and 238 kg tobacco and tobacco for hookahs without Bulgarian excise labels. This amount the detainees tobacco it is the largest for that period in last two years. During the inspection the customs officers found smuggled cigarettes in the cars, bus and truck, entering the country from Turkey.
In the case customs officers found smuggled cigarettes in the French car, entering the country from Turkey. The car driver, Turkish citizen, did not declare any goods, precious metals or currency. The car selected for detailed check. During the inspection the customs officers found under the front and rear seats, and in the cavity of the spare tire is hidden 560 boxes cigarettes brand "LM red label" ,without Bulgarian excise labels. A statement for violation of the Law on Customs was issued against the driver.
In another case customs officers found smuggled tobacco for hookahs in the Serbian car, entering the country from Turkey. The car traveled driver, Serbian citizen, did not declare any goods, precious metals or currency. The car selected for detailed check. During the inspection the customs officers found in place of the spare tire is hidden 94 kg tobacco for hookahs. A statement for violation of the Law on Customs was issued against the driver.
