Officers of Lom Customs House seized 288 liters of fruit rakiya disguised as "impregnating primer"



On 07. 11. 2016, around 2:00 pm., Near the Danube Bridge 2 Vidin - Calafat, mobile team of Lom Customs House stopped to check a truck with Bulgarian registration, carrying flavorings and building materials for EU country.

Customs officers inspect one of the pallets. By documents it contains buckets with aqueous impregnation primer.

In one of the buckets customs officers discovered a fruit rakiya. The Inspection shows that the consignment contains total of 48 buckets filled with 6 liters rakiya each. The total amount of retained rakiya is 288 liters.

Samples of retained in the customs warehouse alcoholic beverage were taken and sent for laboratory analysis.
