Customs officers found 970 liters of illegal fuel in van without registration numbers

Customs officers from the "Customs Intelligence and Investigation" at the Customs of Ruse found  970 liters of illegal fuel in container in freight salon of a van without registration numbers. Customs officers have checked the cargo van in a residential area of Ruse on March 9, 2017 in the evening. The owner of the van has not submitted documents for the fuel. The Illegal fuel was seized. Samples were submitted for laboratory analysis. Act of administrative violation shall be initiated against the offender.

The same night at checkpoint "Danube Bridge" Customs officers from the "Customs Intelligence and Investigation" stopped for checking truck with Romanian registration. In the cab of the truck were found during the inspection 80 packages/1600 pieces/ of cigarettes brand "L & M Red Label 100's" without Bulgarian excise stamp, with inscriptions "For duty free sale only" on the packaging. Against the driver - Romanian citizen, was drawn a statement under the Law on Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses.
